In 2016, Sweetness and Honey Bakery was just a dream of mine. I had no background in baking or business management, but knew some day I would love to have my own shop. in 2019 I started baking more as a hobby and watched countless videos on instagram, youtube, and browsed pinterest for inspiration. I started baking for friends, family, and coworkers until I decided to take the leap and start a bakery operating out of my tiny condo. My (now) husband built me a little baking nook in our kitchen and that’s where I began to make macarons, custom cupcakes, cakes, wedding cakes, and so much more. I hoped one day to be able to leave the corporate world and pursue baking full time as it became my passion. In 2021 I signed my lease and in the summer of 2022 the brick n mortar location of Sweetness and Honey Bakery opened. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that this is my realty and I pursued and accomplished my dream, but I couldn’t have done it without my husband, family, friends, and all of you - my dedicated customers who have supported me from the beginning and continue to support me. I can’t thank you enough and I hope you continue to visit my shop even if it’s just to say hi.
